Is Blueland Sustainable or is it Greenwashing?

Welcome to the series where I see if brands and products are actually what they say they are.
Is Blueland sustainable or is it greenwashing?
The amount of comments I get to research Blueland is astronomical - so here it is! Blueland offers refillable cleaning products to promote eliminating single use plastics.
Starting strong, they’re a certified B-Corp, gluten free, Paraben free, vegan, and leaping bunny cruelty free plus every ingredient is on the EPA Safer Chemical Ingredients list. The company is also Carbon Neutral Certified, Cradle to Cradle Certified, USDA BioPreferred, and they’re packaging is plastic free and compostable. Lastly, the dish soap, dishwasher & laundry tabs are all EWG verified.
I will say the spray bottles ARE made of plastic though, which surprised me but isn’t a true dealbreaker since you can always use your own.
So Is Blueland sustainable or is it greenwashing?
Overall, Blueland is a great example of a brand who is transparent with their initiatives and also also markets their products in an ethical way. SO I’d say Blueland is sustainable - but what do you think?
XOXO,
